Tyler, The Creator is trying to get in touch with Janet Jackson, and he has asked for the public’s help to track her down.

Taking to his Instagram Story on Sunday (February 18), the Odd Future co-founder put out a call for the superstar singer.

“Can someone let @janetjackson know I’m looking for her,” he wrote over a photo of his kicks.

Tyler, The Creator was recently confirmed as a headliner at the annual Coachella festival for 2024, along with Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey and a reunited No Doubt. Other names on the bill this year include Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, Tyla, Tinashe, Lil Yachty, Coi Leray and more.

The three-day event is scheduled for back to back weekends from April 12–14 and April 19–21 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.

Odd Future fans were left disappointed at last year’s gathering when Frank Ocean pulled out of his second-weekend performance following a disappointing first set that commenced over an hour late.

The R&B star announced that he’d been forced to back out due to an injury just three days before his scheduled return, after which Blink-182 replaced him. According to Pitchfork, he was advised by his doctor to rest after suffering two fractures and a sprain in his left leg prior to the first performance.

“It was chaotic,” the Blonde crooner said about the aforementioned set in a statement. “There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”

Ocean’s damaged leg, which was initially said to be a “serious ankle injury,” first came to light when he reportedly hurt himself while riding a bike around the Coachella festival grounds just days before his big gig.

After gracing the stage late, Frank dedicated about a quarter of his 80-minute set to a “rave mix” from DJ Crystallmess and later lip-synced some of his own songs, including “Nikes” and “Nights.”

Fans at home were expecting to livestream the performance on YouTube, but the broadcast was mysteriously pulled at the last minute.

The show also ended on an abrupt and anticlimactic note, with Frank telling the crowd: “Guys, I’m being told it’s curfew, so that’s the end of the show. Thank you so much.”
