On behalf of the Olds & District Kiwanis Music Festival I would like to express appreciation to The Albertan for its coverage of this year’s festival and final concerts. We are most appreciative for all of the community support that we receive.

This year we had 276 entries in the festival. Forty-nine performances were granted awards and we had 21 of our entries recommended to go on to the Alberta Music Festival.

Our little festival historically has a pretty good showing at the provincial festival, so we are looking forward to seeing (and hearing) how this year’s participants perform in Edmonton.

Again, thank you for your support of the performing arts in Olds and area.

Trudy Ballard O&DKMF,

Olds
