The serene coastal city of Naples is about to be hit with a wave of music and athleticism like never before. Paradise Coast MusicFest, a groundbreaking event that promises to deliver “The Shortest Marathon and the Longest Fun,” is set for Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex. This festival is set to redefine the boundaries of entertainment.

Festival organizers John Page and Marcia Griffin say that music and fitness have always been powerful forces that bring communities together. “We’re taking this to the next level by combining the laid-back vibes of Yacht Rock with the exhilarating thrill of a marathon, albeit the world’s shortest one,” says Page. “The event is a testament to the power of music and its ability to unite people from all walks of life.

Music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the festival boasts a stellar lineup featuring iconic bands like Pablo Cruise and the Atlanta Rhythm Section.

Pablo Cruise, known for its honest and down-to-earth vocals, promises an experience that goes beyond just listening. “To hear Pablo Cruise on record is one thing, but to experience the band live is an exhilarating event,” added Griffin.

On the other hand, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, with over 50 years in the Southern Rock scene, will transport attendees back in time with their timeless hits. “Their music resonates with fans old and new. Watching them live is like taking a trip down memory lane,” said Page.

In a fun twist, the festival introduces the World’s Shortest Marathon — a 106.3-foot Meter Race. Complete with official timing, bibs and awards, this race promises to be the most fun-filled and accessible athletic event attendees have ever participated in. It’s the perfect race for those who’ve always wanted to say they’ve run a marathon — without the months of training.

Tickets for this unique event are available in various options, including general admission and VIP experiences. Tickets are $65-$150 depending on seating. Table seating is also available. For information and to purchase tickets, visit https:// www.paradisecoastmusicfest.com. ¦
