The Ministry of Tourism of the Commonwealth of Dominica shared flight and ferry options to the island nation from the regional and international hubs. The Ministry aimed to ease travellers’ visits to the island nation before the most-anticipated World Creole Music Festival 2023.

While travelling regionally, the travellers can connect to Dominica through one of several Caribbean hubs, which are as follows:

  • Caribbean Airlines: From Trinidad and Barbados
  • InterCaribbean: From Saint Lucia, Barbados and Tortola
  • LIAT: From Barbados and Antigua
  • Air Sunshine: From St Thomas and St Croix
  • Silver Airways: From Puerto Rico

While announcing this schedule, the Tourism Ministry wrote, “Traveling soon? Check out some of the flight and ferry options to Dominica from our regional and international hubs! Plus, with Dominica’s signature World Creole Music Festival this October, book your flights and ferry early while availability lasts!”

If the travellers are travelling internationally, they can catch a direct flight with American Airlines from Miami. Additionally, to connect from Europe to Dominica, people can check out flights through the regional hubs, which are as follows:

  • Antigua
  • Barbados
  • Puerto Rico
  • Guadeloupe
  • Martinique
  • Trinidad
  • St Maarten

It is to be noted that airline and flight availability are subject to change. Furthermore, people interested in hopping to the island through ferries can board one for direct boat access from Guadeloupe, Saint Lucia and Martinique. People can also check L’Express Des Îles, which provides an easy way for travellers to arrive in Dominica.

The Ministry urged everyone to “Book your ticket quickly at 0590 919 520 (7/7 from 7 am to 5 pm)” to arrive at L’Express Des Îles ferry for the World Creole Music Festival.

The preparations for the music festival are in full swing, with the Ministry talking to several airlines to increase their services in order to ease travellers from around the region to arrive in Dominica amid WCMF 2023.
