The two-day Kasauli Music Festival 2024 is set to take place at the end of this month in the picturesque setting of the hill station located in Himachal Pradesh.
“The venue is in the heart of a lush green forest in Kasauli and will accentuate the experience of music lovers,” said Dr Zoya Singh, Director, of Santa Roza, where the festival will take place.
This year’s lineup boasts of a range of musicians and singers including Kavita Seth, a composer, music director and singer known for hits like ‘Rangi Saari’, ‘Iktara’, ‘Tum Hi Ho Bandhu’.
“I am excited and looking forward to singing at KMF. A music fest in the hills, it will be a great setting,” said Kavita Seth
Joining her is music composer and instrumentalist Abhijit Pohankar, who will present Bollywood Gharana, a fusion of classical, folk and Bollywood.
Other performers include Akaash Verma, Kutle Khan, Jasleen Aulakh and Fouzia Dastango and vocalist Vidhi Sharma’s who will present a dastangoi on actor Meena Kumari – ‘Meena Kumari Ki Dastaan.’
Aiming to highlight the local talent in Himachal, the festival would also feature performances by HP 14, The Band – a Hindi rock music band with its roots in Solan and Himalayan Roots, a band from Shimla.
