Stanley Cups have generated a cult following for their aesthetically pleasing insulated drinkware that notably also fit in your car’s cupholder. The lifestyle brand has blown up in popularity with fans buying up new releases in just hours including its Mother’s Day styles and its statement-making neon collection — including a Barbie-like fuchsia pink cup. These tumblers are typically as much as $50, but that’s where Target’s Stanley Cup dupe comes in.

The online retailer dropped its own line of exclusive Owala FreeSip water bottles that come in six neutral and statement-making color combinations — and the collection is still in stock (for now).

Owala has quickly gone viral on TikTok as one of the most fashionable insulated tumblers, and at only $28, they’re selling fast. More than 58 million videos about the brand’s FreeSip Water Bottle have been made on the social media platform, with fans even going as far as to say the water bottle is “far better than Stanley.” Even Hilary Duff was spotted leaving the gym in 2023 with an Owala water bottle, according to People.

Target Exclusive Owala FreeSip 24oz Water Bottle

Target wants to keep you hydrated with a range of colorful Owala FreeSip water bottles that you can only get from them. There are six exclusive Target Owala shades to choose from including a trendy sage green style that features a cream mouthpiece and eye-catching hot pink edge on the lid. The design comes with a built-in straw to easily sip your drink throughout the day. Attached is also a lid that clicks into place and will seamlessly snap open with the push of a button.

TikTok user Lehandra Staude has captured more than 20 million views for a video comparing Owala’s FreeSip to the Stanley Cup. Within the video you see the user flip the Stanley Cup on its side and see water leak all over the counter, demonstrating how non-leakproof Stanely Cups can be. Owala’s FreeSip not only provides two different ways to drink from it, but even includes a retractable loop for easy carrying as well as a lid to prevent any spills.

“Out with the old, goodbye Stanley,” Staude says in at the end of the video.

It’s not uncommon for viral Target finds to sell out quickly either. The brand recently got attention for its new margarita insulated tumblers that sold out within a day, which means it’s only a matter of time before shoppers stock up on the exclusive Owala Target shades. Don’t worry though, if you miss out on Target’s Owala water bottles, Amazon, Walmart and Urban Outfitters carry the FreeSip and you can shop it below.
