YBN Nahmir has denied that he had his chain snatched in Compton, calling the claim fake news.

Earlier this week, a man appeared online bragging that he had jumped the “Rubbin’ Off the Paint” rapper and taken his custom YBN chain, flaunting it on social media.

In a video of his own posted on Wednesday (April 10), however, Nahmir refuted the claims.

“I’m literally just getting up. What the fuck do you n-ggas be talking about?” he asked, bemused.

The rapper then showed his YBN chain to the camera and added: “What the fuck? All this shit be fake as hell. The internet be fake as hell.”

The person who claimed to have snatched the chain posted a picture of them holding the jewelry along with the caption: “@ybnnahmir I got yo shit yung n-gga tap n.”

In a separate post, the culprit shared a video of YBN Nahmir bragging about how hard it is to get one of the custom chains before the clip turns to the apparently stolen piece of jewelry as the man claims how “easy” it was to steal.

Nahmir previously posted pictures of the custom chain, which has a diamond-encrusted “YBN” pendant.

Some fans had raised doubts about the alleged stolen chain, claiming it was not the same one as Nahmir’s.

“ngl the chain they was holding didn’t look like the one nahmir was holding up [crying face emojis] sumn not adding up maybe im tweakin,” one Instagram user commented.

Others criticized the chain-snatchers for publicizing their purported crime: “Yeah post your robberies on social media, police don’t know what instagram is right?”

YBN Nahmir Shuts Down Allegations Of Duping Up-And-Coming Rapper For $200

The person who claimed to have taken the chain from Nahmir has yet to respond to the rapper calling cap on their antics.

The alleged thieves appeared to have gotten off lightly given Nahmir once threatened to shoot up a troll’s mother’s house.

In leaked audio from a private conversation with an online troll, the 24-year-old can be heard saying: “I’m from North Long Beach…n-gga do you filthy, like really beat your motherfuckin’ ass. All that lifting weights is out — that shit do not matter. Fuck that, bro. I’ll just shoot you in your face.”

He continued: “I’ll come to Forth Worth and beat your ass and shoot your mama house up, dude. Be honest with yourself.”
