Mexican star Christian Nodal is heading to South by Southwest to perform at Billboard Presents THE STAGE at SXSW on Friday, March 15.

The Latin Grammy-winning artist has collected a robust catalogue of hits since launching his career with the mariacheño song “Adiós Amor” in 2017. Now, Nodal is the soloist with the most No. 1 songs on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. From “De Los Besos Que Te Di” to “No Te Contaron Mal” and his latest “Un Cumbión Dolido,” the 25-year-old singer has placed a total of 15 champs since the list launched in 1994.

Most recently, Nodal has leaned on his experimental side teaming up with acts such as Peso Pluma and Residente. In January, he released the Peso-assisted “La Intención,” marking his first foray into corridos tumbados. A month later, Residente unleashed the country-tinged polka cut “Pólvora de Ayer” with Nodal.

Taking place at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park in Austin, Billboard Presents THE STAGE at SXSW will kick off with a night dedicated to R&B headlined by singer-songwriter and producer PARTYNEXTDOOR on March 14; March 15 is a night celebrating Latin music, and will feature TJ the DJ, emerging Mexican-American act Estevie and singer-songwriter Christian Nodal; and on March 16, a dance-centric night presented by Carnival Cruise Line kicks off with DJ Sober before electronic giant ILLENIUM takes the stage. Tickets are available here.

Ahead of his showcase at Billboard Presents THE STAGE at SXSW, which of Christian Nodal’s hits are you hoping he will perform? Vote below!
