Melbourne’s Brunswick Music Festival has revealed three of its international headliners for 2024. US indie titans Wednesday and MJ Lenderman will be joining the festivities in March of next year, alongside the so-called “Beatles of Zambia” WITCH (We Intend To Cause Havoc).
Rising North Carolina indie rockers Wednesday will hit Brunswick West’s Estonian House on Wednesday, 6th March with support from local legends, Delivery, while Zamrock nine-piece WITCHwill play the same venue on Thursday, 7th March withSquid Nebula on support duties. Alt-country fuzz-rocker MJ Lendermanwill kick things off at Brunswick’s Howler venue with local supports Quality Used Cars a little earlier on Tuesday, 5th March.

“Each of these artists is doing something really special with their live shows, and I can’t wait to be right up the front amongst the community at these shows next year.” the festival’s brand new programmer, Juliette Lalli, said in a press statement.
“We have so much more to share soon, with a program focussed on events that combine multiple art forms, new musical collaborations and artists that celebrate diversity in all forms of music.”
The rest of the lineup for the annual Brunswick-wide bash, which runs from Sunday, 3rd March – Monday, 11th March 2024, is set to arrive in January.

Meanwhile, all three of the above international acts have been named on the lineup for the 2024 Perth Festival, while Wednesday and MJ Lenderman have also announced a couple of 2024 Australian headline shows and feature on the lineup for Golden Plains 2024 in Meredith, Victoria.
