VW Whitenoise Festival 2023 in Norfolk hailed the best yet

It took place at the Norfolk Showground from Friday, August 11 until Sunday, August 13, with 3,000 people camping and crowds of day visitors too.

The event was organised by couple Lucy and Neil Haughey, who live in Cringleford, and it is a celebration of retro motors and live music.

The Show ‘n’ Shine competition took place on Sunday with hundreds of Volkswagens, which even included a customised Scooby Doo van.

Other highlights included The Wall of Death motorcycle shows and the Saturday music headliner Rhythm of the 90s.

Mr Haughey said: “People told me it was the best VW Whitenoise ever – we have come a long way since our first one at Wroxham FC with 70 people camping.”

Mrs Haughey added: “We have also used the woodland area better this year, with free activities including rollerskating and a children’s entertainer.”

The couple has confirmed that the event will return on the second weekend of August 2024.
