A HIGH school teacher from Masbate, Darryl Tamayo, and English online teacher for Japanese Arch Lopez are taking off from their regular work to concentrate on the production of “Boses At Aral“ (Voices and Lessons).
Three teenage students – Jove Evangelio of Mapua University-Makati (who has a viral video on Facebook while singing Gloc-9’s “Upuan“ with 8 million views), Yen Victoria from Rizal Technological University and Lovern Apa – all part of Llavore Music Production avowed to give their best as they contribute in singing original songs penned by OFW Benz Llavore in the concert slated on Oct. 28, 2023 at the Music Museum.
“Not everyone is given the chance and opportunity to sing original songs,“ Victoria said, who penned a patriotic song herself about Intramuros. Titled “España,“ she drew inspiration from her first visit to the famous Walled City and was awed by the history of the place and artistic structures around the former center of the nation’s government, commerce, culture and education.
According to Llavore, their aim is to share the gift of music, particularly songs with lessons from his life and the lives of his friends and people he knows in a mostly original repertoire. The main song is sung by Lopez, known as ArchVlog on YouTube.
Llavore stressed that he prefers writing songs in Tagalog to express his innermost thoughts and feelings, which may not be the case if and when written in English, although he won’t decline if there are offers to translate his compositions into different languages.

“One of the most spectacular and delightful gifts that God has given us is beautiful music, which may quiet the soul’s agitations. A moral rule applies to music. It imparts character and joy to life and everything else, as well as giving the cosmos a soul, wings for the mind, and the ability to fly,” the producer-host said during the press conference at Lola Ote Restaurant in Quezon City on Oct. 7, 2023.
