The mother of German tattoo artist Shani Louk, who was allegedly abducted by Hamas terrorists from a music festival in Israel and was paraded on the streets of Gaza strip, has reportedly told a German newspaper, The Bild, that she has got information that her daughter is alive and is believed to be in critical condition somewhere in a Gaza hospital. Appealing for help, she urged the German government to act quickly. The 22-year-old Shani Louk has serous injuries and is in a critical situation, her mother said in the video message.

Videos of Shani Louk Shani Louk being present at the music festival near the Gaza border had surfaced on the social media. On 7th of October Hamas militants stormed the music festival and had opened fire at partygoers who could be seen in videos of fleeing through the desert. Hamas is also believed to be have kidnapped over 100 Israeli civilians and civilians and holding them as hostages in the Gaza Strip. On a video, the 22-year-old was later seen on a pickup truck with her face to the ground.

“We have information that Shani Louk, is alive. Every minute is critical. We demand the German government t to act quickly to get her out. One should not argue the question of jurisdiction,” Shani Louk’s mother said in the video.

According to Israeli media reports, over 250 people were killed by Hamas gunmen who invaded an outdoor music festival in southern Israel during their assault on the country. The partygoers were seen racing across the desert and taking cover in orchards. The militants are believed to have kidnapped many from the music festival.

Thousands of young men and women gathered at at the open-air Tribe of Nova music festival in southern Israel near the Gaza border. The massacre is believed to be the worst civilian massacre in Israeli history. The whereabouts of many are still now unknown.

In retaliation to the Hamas attack, Israeli air force jets have launched an intensive bombing campaign against Hamas targets in Gaza Strip. Israel withdrew troops from Gaza in 2005 after 38 years of occupation, and has kept it under blockade since Hamas seized power there in 2007. The United Nations said more than 180,000 Gazans had been made homeless, many huddling on streets or in schools. Meanwhile, Hamas has threatened to execute a captive for each home in Gaza hit.
