With more than 180 RVs there, the festival proved to be a massive success.
It featured a stellar line-up of artists, including Joe Musico, Vanessa Sanger, Brian Letton, Owen Bludell, Don Costa, George Farnham, Lance Birrell and Kiara Rodrigues.
These talented musicians graced the stage at the Kyabram Showgrounds, delivering performances that rocked the audience.
After facing cancellations in the past three years due to challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic and floods, this year’s festival was anticipated to be bigger and better than ever.
Singer-songwriter Sanger was delighted to be back on stage at the Kyabram Showgrounds.
“It’s nice and festive with great crowds and a great atmosphere,” she said.
Evan Platschinda, who also performed at the festival, shared his excitement about returning to Kyabram.
“The crowd comes from everywhere, and everyone’s friendly,” he remarked, highlighting the festival’s ability to bring together music lovers from diverse backgrounds.
The festival created a lively and welcoming atmosphere for attendees.
“I’ve been to every single one since it started in 2012,” Sandra Brown said.
“We had three walk-ups on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.”
Organiser Allan Weeks said the festival did unearth some new gems on the performer front.
“A couple of the singers from the walk-ups will be on the main stage next year,” he said.
“A lot of first-timers are amazed on how well it was all set up and said that they will be coming back next year.”
Mr Weeks said the festival had the potential to grow greater in stature, but would only do so thanks to greater support.
“We need more locals to volunteer,” Mr Weeks said.
”We have many from around the district, but we don’t have many from Kyabram.”
Organisers are confident they can build on the momentum generated by this year’s edition in 2024.
