Orton is recognised by WWE as having the third-most world championship victories in history at 14, behind John Cena and Ric Flair (both on 16).

He made his debut in 2002 and two years later, he went on to become the youngest WWE champion, thus earning the nickname ‘the legend killer’.

His character evolved in 2008 after his shoulder injury. During this time, he gained a new entrance theme, “Voices”, performed by the band Rev Theory.

In an interview, Orton admitted he needed new entrance music after losing the WWE title to Triple H in 2008.

“I wish we could pick our theme music,” he said.

“For the longest time, I had the Burning My Light or whatever the entrance music was that started with ‘Hey, nothing you can say,’ and I hated that s**t for all four years. I hated it from the first day I heard it. They even tried to tweak it a bit and I still hated it,” Orton.
