Everyone knows that Popcaan loves his greens—whether it’s weed or food. Over the weekend, however, the Jungle Justice deejay took his creativity up a notch by sporting a leaf-covered two-piece set for a performance at the World Creole Music Festival in Dominica.

This doesn’t come as a complete shock from someone who has experimented with fashion before, but it’s certainly an interesting concept.

His set had fans rocking to some of his classics such as Party Shot, Numbers Don’t Lie, and Inviolable.

The festival also saw the likes of veteran Jamaican singer Beres Hammond, Dancehall singer Jada Kingdom, Patrice Roberts, Kalash, Njie, and Soca King Machel Montano.

Besides the memorable sets, there were many comments about Poppy’s ‘unorthodox’ outfit. On social media, some took to his comments section to give him props for the unique look.

“Man go culture…if yuh neva play ‘green leaf’ 🍃 you ain’t Jamaican,” one follower teased.

“I like that outfit it’s out of the box at a different level,” another added.

Meanwhile, another joked, “E dawg just go pick some leaf outta St Thomas and paste it pon a jumpa.”

Speaking of St Thomas, Unruly fans are gearing up for the return of Unruly Fest in December. The recently announced lineup is promising so far.

The first staging of Unruly Fest was held in December 2018 at Goodyear Oval in St Thomas. It was a completely sold-out event, which saw thousands of local and international fans turn up to see the deejay, special guests Drake and Tory Lanez, and other entertainers live.

Before Unruly Fest, Popcaan will be heading on a promotional European tour to give fans in the eastern side of the world a taste of his Great Is He album.
