Pitchfork Music Festival Unveils 2024 Mexico City Lineup with Andy Shauf, King Krule, JPEGMAFIA and More

Pitchfork Music Festival has unveiled the artist lineup for its inaugural Mexico City event. Set to take place on March 6-10, the festival will be led by JPEGMAFIA, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Kelela, Andy Shauf, Sky Ferreira and King Krule. Alongside these acts, Mexico City’s first rendition of the festival will invite seventeen other artists from the area and abroad to five venues across the city, with main stages at Frontón Bucareli, Casa del Lago and Foro Indie Rocks! and club shows at Yu Yu and Fünk.

On March 6, Frontón Bucareli will launch the festival with an evening of performances from Armand Hammer, Billy Woods and headliner JPEGMAFIA, followed by a DJ set from Los Alan Anaya to close out the night. Then, on March 7, Rubio and Debby Friday will lead up to Kelela’s headline at Frontón Bucareli, and Vyctoria will set the stage for Godspeed You! Black Emperor at Foro Indie Rocks! To conclude the evening and ring in the weekend, artists AAAA and Masteriche will precede a DJ set from Pelada at Yu Yu.

The celebration will continue on March 8 with sets from Yeule, NOIA and headliner Sky Ferreira at Frontón Bucareli. Meanwhile, Andy Shauf will perform at Foro Indie Rocks!, preceding a DJ set from Marie Davison and a live show from Pelada. On the fourth full day, appearances from Glasser, Corridor and Protomartyr will lead up to King Krule’s set at Frontón Bucareli. That evening, the party will continue at Fünk with performances from DJ Holographic, Celice and more.

Pitchfork Music Festival Mexico City will end with a free event at Casa del Lago, featuring Mabe Fratti and Ami Dang. Mexico City is the latest offshoot of the annual festival, debuted by the music magazine at Chicago’s Union Park in 2006, following Berlin in 2022, London in 2021, and Paris since 2011. Beyond highlighting Mexican and Latin American DJs and musicians, the festival’s lineup will showcase an eclectic mix of genres, including hip-hop, post-punk and electronic music.

Tickets for Pitchfork Music Festival Mexico City are available now on Passline.com. Standard Passes cover the four headline shows, while Plus Passes cover three additional club events. For more information, visit the festival’s official website.
