Carnation was flooded with thousands of music fans who came to see over 25 bands perform

From July 27-29, Carnation was flooded with thousands of music fans who came to see over 25 different bands perform and take part in the summertime festivities at the Timber! 2023 Music Festival.

Folks arrived Thursday afternoon by the dozen and Tolt MacDonald Park was completely transformed into an arts and culture paradise for three days and nights.

Festival attendees were scattered throughout the park, camping in all different shapes and styles — tents, RVs, truck campers, and vans.

One of the festival’s most popular attractions was the junction of Snoqualmie and Tolt River. Swimmers, floaters, paddlers, and sun-bathers of all ages flocked to the beach like clockwork every afternoon when temps increased.

Food vendors, outdoor brands, and boutique mobile shops surrounded Timber’s main stage providing cuisine and entertainment for all.

Of course, the festival’s highlight was its two great music venues and all the wonderful musicians who rocked the stage. For a relatively small organization,

Timber did a seriously impressive job orchestrating a weekend that felt homey and relaxing while still delivering high production value, musical talent, and overall organization. It went off without a hitch.

The fun continued well past sundown. Music and colorful lights radiated around the park.

Huge thanks and congratulations to all the musicians and volunteers who made this festival a reality. All of your love and hard work was on full display.

The only details that seem to shift is the branding and the font on the commemorative posters. In many ways, Quebec City’s Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) holds true to these maxims. The folks playing the big stage this […]
