The Paris Music Festival returns this year from March 20 to 23, 2025, for a new edition combining heritage and live music. Since 2016, this event has taken over iconic and sometimes little-known locations in the capital, transforming historic sites into temporary venues. The program includes acoustic concerts, exclusive performances, and musical discoveries, ranging from song to jazz, electronic and contemporary music.
Concerts in exceptional locations
This year again, the festival is focusing on unusual venues to host its artists. Among them is Boris Vian’s apartment, where Emily Loizeau, Mathieu Boogaerts, and Clou will perform, offering a unique immersion into the writer-musician’s world. The Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine will resonate with the sound of jazz, while the Son/Ré workshop, once the creative space of composer Pierre Henry, will host screenings and experimental concerts. The Théâtre du Châtelet, meanwhile, will offer a visual and sound experience with Fantasmagorie, a performance combining music and projections of 19th-century animated images.
An eclectic and surprising program
The festival showcases an impressive musical diversity. Blick Bassy, Louis Winsberg, Noé Preszow, and Thomas Bloch, a specialist in rare instruments like the Cristal Baschet, will be featured. Unique experiences are also planned, such as the “David Bowie Party” at Ground Control and candlelit concerts at Sunset/Sunside. With limited capacity—sometimes as few as 25 people, as in Boris Vian’s apartment—these performances promise a rare connection between artists and spectators.
Paris Music 2025 invites you to rediscover the city in a different way, exploring its iconic venues while enjoying a challenging and daring musical program. A must-see for music and heritage lovers.
