The Outlaw Music Festival is coming to Ridgedale and bringing a pair of legendary music artists with it.
The festival, on its 10th anniversary tour, will come to Thunder Ridge Nature Arena on Sunday, June 29. The lineup for the tour will include Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles and Tami Neilson. Nelson’s musical career spans decades with hits like On the Road Again, Always on My Mind, Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain and Crazy. The singer, guitarist and songwriter was a central figure in the outlaw country movement of the late 1960s. He is known as one of the most popular country music singers of the 20th century.
Dylan, an American singer/songwriter, is best known for songs like Blowin’ in the Wind, Like A Rolling Stone, Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright and Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door. In his more than 60 year career, he has sold an estimated 125 million records worldwide. He is known for his unique sound in the folk music genre.
Over the last ten years, the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, led by Nelson, has featured such artists as Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Luke Combs, Neil Young, Phil Lesh, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Sheryl Crow, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, Tyler Childers, Van Morrison, Zach Bryan and ZZ Top. During its 10th anniversary, the tour will make 35 stops across 22 states.
Nelson shared his excitement for the anniversary tour, with its hit lineup.
