On Friday, Dec. 1, the North Beach Music Festival occurred in Miami. The initial night of music turned out memorable frames from Ajeva and Mark Farina before Disco Biscuits cut into two sets. The second day picked up in the mid-afternoon with The Heavy Pets on the Bandshell Stage. After appearances from Brad Miller, featuring Oz Noy and Thomas Pridgen, Say She She delivered their festival frame.
Day two continued with music from Electric Kif and an ensuing set from Sunsquabi. With the moon overhead, Adam Deitch dug into his producer set and later on, during The Disco Biscuits set, stepped in as a special guest. Notably, during the Disco Biscuits frame, they also dusted off a cover of LCD Soundsystem’s “Tribulations.” Read more.
The third and final day of the North Beach Music Festival commenced with George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners. In time, Twyn took the stage prior to a lively display courtesy of Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country. Rounding out the final appearances, Eggy, the Adam Deitch Quartet, and Cory Wong served as the last acts of the 2023 event.
