Nico Paulo leads the way with 3 MusicNL award wins

MusicNL handed out its annual music awards on Saturday, with Nico Paulo heading home as the big winner.

Paulo earned three awards — album of the year for her self-titled album, pop artist of the year and Ron Hynes songwriter of the year.

Jing Xia, XIA-3 and Jason Benoit were close behind, winning two awards each.

It was also the first time that l’artiste Francophone de l’année was awarded, with Port-Aux-Poutines winning the prize.
