Negative Space Gallery in Asia Town Center keeps a low profile and when you find out about its events, it’s almost like a fortuitous accident. And it’s upcoming, two-day “Arts for Asia Town Center” sounds like one of the most fortuitous discoveries.

“After a long year of benefit concerts, Negative Space is putting together one big benefit blowout festival to celebrate and support Asia Town Center,” says the gallery. “Bringing a rich cultural experience to Cleveland with this festival, we wish to give back and help keep Asoa Town Center a nourishing environment for all to enjoy.”

Friday evening will have performances in the gallery, featuring Small Change, COE, Kid Tested and Cellophane Jane. Cover is $10.

On Saturday there’ll be performances on both floors of Asia Town Center and in the Gallery all day and evening Saturday with 18 bands, among them Messmaker, Church of Starry Wisdom, the Frans, Lea Marra & the River Boys, C-Level and many many MANY more. (Find the schedule here.) And admission is free.

There’ll also be more than 30 vendors set up both Friday evening and Saturday, with art, jewelry, vintage and holiday gifts. Go here for more information.
