Mount Bohemia hosts spring music festival

LAC LA BELLE, Mich. (WLUC) – Mount Bohemia Ski Resort made music this weekend in Lac La Belle.

The resort hosted a Spring Serenade Music Festival. DJs from across the nation celebrated the start of warmer months with the U.P. People skied or enjoyed the spa while jamming out.

Detroit-based DJ Jeremiah Barker and his friends coordinated the event to bring electronic tunes. He says the music warms up the people after a long, freezing winter.

“And our music keeps people dancing and warm, and it just brings energy, brings people together,” Baker said. “It’s all about love, about the feeling and the vibe and being together, dancing and just enjoying Michigan ‘cause we’re so blessed to be able to live here.”

He hopes to come back next year to share his love of music and Michigan.
