Method Man and influencer Jordan Howlett have been joking around about them possibly being related, after fans have started pointing out their resemblance.
In an Instagram video posted on Saturday (February 10), the two appeared together to play up the fact they look very similar to each other.
Howlett, who went from homeless to a viral sensation on TikTok, began the clip by saying: “One article said Method Man’s older brother shares secret recipes. First, we are not related. And people don’t believe me every time I say this so at this point, I brought Method Man here so he can tell you we not related.”
The Wu-Tang Clan legend then steps into frame wearing a similar outfit to Howlett. says: “I mean even though we kinda look alike, he looks like a more stressed out version of me. There’s no relation.”
The two then do a bit about their similar outfits before Howlett sets out to shut down the rumor once and for all, saying: “We can’t be related but I can’t perform at a high level like he can and he does not have a secret recipe book like I do.”
Method Man proceeds to reveal that he does in fact have a secret recipe book before hilariously reading out a recipe for Little Caesar’s crazy bread, mimic Howlett’s mannerisms and even leaving the influencer confused.
Since posting the clip 18 hour ago, it has been viewed nearly nine million times on Instagram and nearly four million times on TikTok.
The video was also well-received by viewers with one commenting: “DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW EPIC THIS SKIT ISSSSSSS…” Another said: “This is one of my favorite Internet moments ever.”
One commenter joked: “The way my jaw dropped when method man actually stepped into the frame.” Another added: “First, method man will never not be fine. Second, I’m literally listening to him read a cookbook.”
Meth was recently the topic of discussion online when fans debated who was hotter: him or LL Cool J, triggering a number of horny comments.
The discussion was triggered on the Neighborhood Talk Instagram page on January 17. The post was a screenshot of a tweet that asked, “I have a very important question to ask: LL Cool J or Method Man?”
The comments varied, as might be expected. “I have 2 holes, ima say both,” wrote one commenter, whereas another wrote, “No homo but BOTH and that’s on the dead homies.”
Still another fan thought that LL Cool J was past his prime, but the Wu-Tang Clan breakout star could still get it.
