Meat World will be celebrating it’s 30th birthday on April 26 with an exciting music festival at Springs Meat World along the Paul Kruger Highway.

Gates for the festival open at 11:00 and Meat World will be running extraordinary specials on the day.

The music festival will boast some of South Africa’s greatest artists, including MiCasa, Francois van Coke, DJ Dazzy Funk, Pieter Smith, Ruhan du Toit, Bernice West, Mari Bosman and Amapiano DJ Zan D.

There will also be an art and flea market, a beer tent, plenty of excitement for the little ones, and lots to eat. Meat World will present their well-known braai competition and both radio stations Jacaranda FM and RSG will be broadcasting live from the event.

Managing director of the Meat World Group of Companies, Angelino Pereira, said that they will be celebrating 30 wonderful years in style with an exciting line-up of artists.

“We are thankful for all the loyal support we received over the last 30 years and with this birthday celebration we would like to thank every customer who supported us over the years. We invite all Meat World’s customers to come and enjoy the festival,” Pereira said.

The first Meat World opened in Springs in 1995, and after achieving great success, 18 other butcheries have been opened across the country ever since.

The Meat World in Witbank will also be opened on April 26, bringing the total number of outlets to 19 across the country.

From humble beginnings, the Meat World Group of Companies developed a workable strategy of wholesale, pre-packed, deli products and of course a personal butcher to see to the personal needs of clients.

“Meat World not only deals in the supply of quality fresh and frozen meat products, but has also found itself producing a variety of high-quality processed meat products.

“Over the past 15 years, we have grown exponentially, expanding our processing facility with state-of-the-art equipment. The heart of Meat World lies in its friendly and professional team of over 450 employees,” Pereira concluded.
