Ma$e appears to be enjoying Diddy‘s legal issues, making light of the federal raids on his former label boss’ homes.

During the latest episode of It Is What It Is that premiered on Tuesday (March 26), the “Feel So Good” rapper offered a typically humorous take on Puffy’s escalating legal drama.

Co-host Cam’ron opened the hour-long episode by asking his Harlem cohort how he was doing, to which Ma$e wasted little time in cracking a joke at Diddy’s expense.

“I’m good, man. Reparations is getting closer and closer!” he said, prompting laughter from Cam and fellow host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson.

Murda, who has had a fractured relationship with Diddy since he signed to Bad Boy in the late ’90s and has accused the label owner of exploitative business practices, then called the situation “the big payback.”

Cam’ron egged on his co-host by pointing out that the raids coincidentally fell on the 27th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s Life After Death album, as well as 21 years since the release of Dipset‘s Diplomatic Immunity.

“It’s amazing that all of this would transpire on that day,” Ma$e commented. “That’s eerie, man! That’s crazy.”

While he didn’t directly mention Diddy’s current predicament, Ma$e did coyly say that he’d “seen helicopters,” referencing overhead footage of the raids.

The drama unfolded on Monday (March 25) when Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security.

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” the agency said.

The case is reportedly being handled by the Southern District of New York in relation to the multiple sexual assault allegations brought against Diddy in recent months.

Footage captured by FOX11 showed several people handcuffed at the mogul’s L.A. home, including his sons Justin and Christian Combs.

Diddy was later spotted at an airport in Miami, where he was reportedly stopped by federal agents before boarding a private jet. He is not thought to be currently under arrest or on the run.

A separate private jet belonging to the Bad Boy boss was tracked online and landed in the Caribbean country of Antigua.

Just a few days before the raids, Ma$e reflected on his decision to retire from rap back in 1999 and said he believes he made the right call.

“Everything now that we see playing out was all the things I escaped,” he said on an earlier episode of It Is What Is, before referring to a litany of misfortunes that befell his fellow Bad Boy artists.

“The car, the Shyne [who served nearly nine years in prison after a 1999 shooting incident], the Loon [sentenced to prison on drug charges in 2013], Puff Daddy [accused of multiple instances of sexual assault], the Craig Mack [dead at 47], the Biggie Smalls [murdered at 24].

“So even though I made those decisions and it cost me money, that’s why I got with Killa and they gave me the money back. I didn’t lose no money. Destiny.”
