LOS ANGELES, Sept 25, (Agencies): Lourdes Leon, the 26-year-old model and musician, is leaving her mark on the music scene in Madrid. The daughter of pop icon Madonna, Lourdes, who goes by the stage name Lolahol, took the stage at the Brava Madrid Music Festival in Spain on a lively Saturday night.
For her performance, Lourdes donned deep-red Adidas tracksuit bottoms paired with a dazzling silvery bra top. Leading a troupe of two dancers, she delivered a high-energy song and dance routine that enthralled the audience. Her dark eyes were accentuated with icy-blue eye shadow, and her long nails gleamed in a silver-chrome hue. Her jet-black, straight hair was parted down the middle, and oversized hoop earrings peeked out from beneath the strands as she danced across the stage.

Earlier in the week, Lourdes made a stunning appearance at the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out in Madrid, captivating everyone in a see-through dress. She also featured in a recent profile for Vogue España, discussing her latest singles and her performance at the Brava Madrid festival, which aims to challenge gender norms through music, fantasy, and fashion.

When asked about her stage performance, Lourdes expressed her desire to capture the joy of clubbing culture. She explained, “My performance is an attempt to encapsulate the experience of the dance world that envelops you when you’re out partying, immersing yourself in clubbing culture. I want to bring that atmosphere to the stage. Through choreography and music, my dancers and I aim to create a relaxed yet cool vibe.”

She further elaborated, “I’m striving to find that ‘sweet’ spot where all the elements I love as an artist—music, dance, and the visual dimension—coexist in a single vision that resonates with the audience when we’re on stage.”

Lolahol made her solo debut with the release of “Lock&Key” and its accompanying music video in August 2022. Madonna proudly showcased her daughter’s work by sharing the cover of Lourdes’ track on her Instagram Stories, along with a caption that read, “I am so proud of you Lola!” Although “Lock&Key” marked her first solo release, Lourdes also lent her backing vocals to Madonna’s 2012 track “Superstar,” which was inspired by her.

In a 2021 interview with Interview magazine, Lourdes shared insights into growing up with her music legend mother. Madonna had given her valuable advice about the entertainment industry: “She’s very much like, ‘Proceed with caution and think about what you want to be known for.’ My mom is very insistent on making me think about what I want to be known for beyond my looks. That’s not what I want people to remember me by. It’s not real.”

Madonna has always been effusive in her praise for her eldest child, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon. In a 2019 interview with British Vogue, Madonna gushed about Lourdes’ talents, saying, “I’m green with envy because she’s incredible at everything she does – she’s an incredible dancer, she’s a great actress, she plays the piano beautifully, she’s way better than me in the talent department.”
