Kodak Black has distinguished himself from Diddy by insinuating that only one of them is guilty of sexual assault even though he’s the one who was previously convicted of it.

On Monday (April 1), Yak went live on Instagram with Adin Ross and addressed viewers who were comparing him to the Bad Boys mogul amid the latter’s ongoing troubles with the law.

“Kodak look like Florida Diddy,” he said, reading out one of the comments while visibly inebriated. “No Diddy — take that, take it. I’ll smack me an elderly bitch, I even might kill me a kid, but I ain’t raping. I mean [mumbling] kill him as a baby, but I ain’t raping.”

Back in 2016, the Florida rapper was accused of raping a teenage girl in a Florence Comfort Inn & Suites hotel room following his performance at the Treasure City Nightclub.

Five years later, he Kodak Black plead guilty to first-degree assault and battery in exchange for 18 months of probation after being slapped with a 10 year sentence. He was originally facing up to 30 years, but the deal spared him from a longer prison sentence.

He was given the opportunity to address the victim during the subsequent court proceedings, which he acted on by saying: “I apologize this happened and I’m hopeful we can all move forward.”

The “Tunnel Vision” hitmaker later tweeted about the above experience and explained that he only took the plea deal so he could put the incident behind him.

“5 yrs later … both us just wanted to get this shit over wit AND I ain’t have to come off no money,” he wrote. “Ain’t gotta register as a sex offender or nun , shit that’s a play if you ask me lol y’all got me fucked up I ain’t dat freaky homie.”

He added: “Y’all b wanting a n-gga to go out sad homie wishing bad on a real n-gga I never seen it work. My heart goes out to all the girls out here getting raped and shit FORREAL , But I Ain’t Did That Shit.”
