Joan Jett to headline Hoochenanny Whiskey & Music Festival

Irondequoit, N.Y. — A celebration of whiskey and music is coming to Monroe County this summer.

Organizers announced Tuesday details of the 2025 Hoochenanny Whiskey & Music Festival.

Some 18 musical acts and 30 distilleries are slated to take part in the three-day event Aug. 8-10 at Camp Eastman.

The lineup includes a performance by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Saturday, Aug. 9, with moe. and the Dark Star Orchestra scheduled to perform Sunday, Aug. 10.

“It’s bringing together two amazing things, which is craft makers — whether it’s the bourbon makers, the food makers, the beer makers, the artisans — and rock ‘n’ roll,” festival producer Sean McCarthy said. “But there’s no true rock ‘n’ roll festival in the city, and this is what that will be.”

This year’s event will be the festival’s second edition. The inaugural festival was held in Geneseo in October 2023.
