The third ASEAN Music Festival enamored the citizens of Delhi as it took place from 29th November to 1st December at the iconic Purana Quila. The three-day celebration which was organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with Seher allowed the citizens of the capital to witness some of the most groundbreaking performances by artists from every country in Southeast Asia for free.
While there were many artists who stole the show on the last day, it was Jasleen Royal who fans were excited about the most, from college students to retired folks, people from every age group just wanted to hear her soulful voice live. Kartik, a college student revealed that ‘I’ve specially come to see Jasleen she is my all-time favourite artist,” He also shared that though he didn’t know much about the other artists discovering new music is always a joy.
Jasleen certainly didn’t disappoint her fans as she adorned a vibrant blue outfit and opened her show with ‘Love you Zindagi, a song that has become therapy for many over time. Apart from this, the multi-talented singer sang all her most-loved tracks while playing different instruments for each, and once again highlighted how she can truly do it all.
Furthermore, the Sahiba singer didn’t forget her fur babies as she dedicated ‘Nit- Nit’ to her pets who she said had been there for her through all the good and the bad and finally before bidding farewell, Royal delighted the audience by performing “Love You Zindagi, “once again and closing the show on a high and positive note
However, the day wasn’t over yet as after wrapping up Jasleen was asked about love advice for Gen-z and she asserted “Keep it Real Simple and don’t chase let it come to you” before cheekily asking people to “Celebrate love with Sahiba” her trending single. The Heeriye hitmaker also shared her upcoming plans and said she would love to collaborate with any artist from the festival’s lineup as she is always hungry for ‘new music’!
