Day two of Lollapalooza saw Jared Leto turn up the heat as he made a dare-devilish entrance for his band’s set.
The Hollywood icon turned into a stuntman as he teased the crowd.
Tied in bungees he extraordinarily made his way to the top of the stage and jumped off the massive rigging to join his bandmates below. In the tricky move, the crowd gasped.
“I almost killed myself for you,” he jokingly exclaimed.
The band —Thirty Seconds to Mars’ — opened with “Walk on Water.”
The lead singer sent fans into a frenzy after he invited Knocked Loose vocalist Bryan Garris on stage to perform “The Kill (Bury Me).”
The pair had great showmanship as they worked the crowd and danced around the stage.
Kendrick Lamar, The 1975 and Peach Pit also played to overflow crowds on Friday night.
Over 170 bands are set to grace the stage of Chicagos Grant Park on nine different stages during the festival, which runs from August 3 to August 6.
