The historic Oster Regent Theatre stage will be packed with talented Bluegrass bands from around the state and beyond in the inaugural CedarGrass Music Festival on Oct. 20-21. Cedar Falls Community Theatre is partnering with Lori King Productions to produce this two-day festival that includes five headlining bands and plenty of fun for all ages to enjoy.
“This programming is a little outside of what you’d typically expect from CFCT and we’re excited to be offering this fun opportunity,” shared Chris Hale, CFCT Managing Director. “Lori King has an incredible reputation amongst the bluegrass community, which made her the perfect partner to bring this festival to life.”
Headliners include Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, SpringStreet, Lori King & Junction 63, The Bluegrass Blondies, and Dry Run Creek.
The festival will include performances from these regional and nationally-recognized artists, open stage performance opportunities, and jamming sessions. Through these performance experiences, participants will be immersed in the rich history and heritage of America’s bluegrass tradition.
One-Day General Admission ticketing for the festival for adults and youth ranges from $10-$30 and Two-Day General Admission ticketing ranges from $22-$50. VIP seats are available and grant access to the first three rows of the theatre for a special up-close-and-personal experience. There is a special room block at the Best Western in Waterloo available now through October 1.
