AILIDH Lennon was once in huge noughties indie band Sons and Daughters, but she’s since quit fame for a very normal job.
Musician Ailidh, 44, achieved four Top 100 singles with the Glasgow-based group, and even toured with Morrissey.
But now a pizza chef and a tweed mill weaver, she claims to love her unexpected occupations.
A resident of the Scottish island Iona, Ailidh said, “I moved here with my husband Roddy, who’s the lead singer in Idlewild.
“Although I keep threatening to make music I never seem to get around to it, but Roddy and I have started Iona Village Hall Music Festival, so music is still a big part of my life.
According to NME, she added, “I came here because I wanted a break from being a musician and so I could learn new skills and have a family.
“Touring didn’t fit with having a kid and living out here, and the band hadn’t left me time for my other interests.”
The former star went on to admit she “wouldn’t” want to be a full-time musician again as the industry’s “changed a lot” and she doesn’t know how musicians make a living in the age of streaming.
She also runs the ailidhlovespizza Instagram account, where she regularly posts snaps of the grub she sells.
Adele Bethel, David Gow and Scott Paterson also made up the Sons and Daughters line-up, but they disbanded in 2012 after 11 years.
Their biggest track was 2005’s Dance Me In, which reached number 40 on the UK Singles Chart.
