ESCANABA — The community is invited to Holy Name Catholic School’s annual Spring Music Festival on Monday, May 12 starting at 10 a.m. in the elementary school gymnasium. The program will be themed around the song “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Holy Name High School — A Chesterton Academy students will be singing two songs in Latin along with several other songs. HN students will perform a few solos, play ukuleles, recorders, and –new this year — handbells. The school’s music teacher, Dr. Jeanne LaCosse will direct the choir/musicians. Senator Ed McBroom will be accompanying on piano with HNCS Principal Nathan Vande Hey playing guitar in the concert as well.
