Hear the blues, reggae at the Taste of Deep South music festival

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Different genres of music can be enjoyed at A Taste of Deep South Festival that will be held in early October.

A Taste of Deep South will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, and Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Riverfront Plaza. The event is free and open to the public, and VIP tickets are available for meals and drinks. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs. The festival also will have a Vendor’s Village with arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry and southern food from the Taste of Deep South kitchen.

VIP tickets are $25 for two meals and two soft drink tickets. Turner VIP tickets are $100 for two people and include two T-shirts, four meal and drink tickets, covered seating in the VIP access tent and a CD from one of the music artists.
