Hampton Jazz & Music Festival is excited to host after rebranding

HAMPTON, Va. — The 54th Annual Hampton Jazz & Music Festival is excited to launch its rebranding this year.

The newly rebranded Hampton Jazz & Music Festival will present more genres from highly-anticipated artists, such as Kem, Boyz II Men, and Jon Batiste.

It will be on June 28, 29 and 30, 2024 at the Hampton Coliseum. The Hampton Jazz Festival is always held during the last full weekend in June each year.

Last year artists included Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia and Babyface.

The City of Hampton and Hampton University have partnered to present the Hampton Jazz Festival every year since Hampton Coliseum opened its doors in 1970. 

Hampton Jazz Festival began in 1968 as a one-time celebration of Hampton University’s 100th birthday on campus at Armstrong Field, but the event became an annual tradition.

 Each June, tens of thousands of people come to Hampton to be a part of this three-day celebration.
