Guiyang’s street music festival lights up New Year’s celebration

On New Year”s Eve, Guizhou’s provincial capital came alive with a 10-hour street music festival, transforming the city into a hub of vibrant celebration. Music echoed through neighborhoods as crowds gathered to ring in the New Year.

With no entry fees or barriers, the festival in Guiyang welcomed everyone, offering free-flowing beer and lively trunk markets.

Since 2023, Guiyang’s street music events have hosted over 320 performances, attracting more than 2.8 million attendees, according to local media.
