MIDLAND, MI — A mid-Michigan tradition continues this month when the Midland County Fairgrounds hosts the 2023 Midland Folk Music Festival.

The four-day event spans Thursday to Sunday, Aug. 24-27, although organizers say visitors are welcome to set up camp at the fairgrounds earlier in the week.

As is tradition, the 2023 festival will include stage shows, sing-a-longs as well as music-themed workshops at the fairgrounds, 6905 Eastman Ave. in Midland.

The festival is organized by the Folk Music Society of Midland, a nonprofit featuring enthusiasts of music played using instruments such as fiddles, guitars and dulcimers.

Entrance fee is $10 for the general public or $5 for members of the Midland Folk Music Society.

For more information about the festival, visit the music society’s website.

Everybody else hears about the mix CD: […]
