Drake has broken yet another record on Spotify, becoming the first artist in the platform’s history to reach 95 billion streams.
The tally was confirmed by a company called Kworb, which keeps track of streams and rankings for different platforms. As of Tuesday (March 5), the 6 God had 95,110,500,000 on the platform — a total which extends across all of his songs.
Drake’s numbers are nearly 20 billion more than the number two artist on the list, Bad Bunny, who clocks in at about 75 billion streams. Other artists in the top 10 include Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, Ariana Grande, Kanye West, and Travis Scott.

In related news, Drizzy’s OVO brand has launched a new collaboration with celebrated Japanese fashion house NEEDLES.
The news, which was first reported by Hype Beast on Friday (March 1), arrived with details of the inaugural collection.
The seven-piece capsule will prominently feature the animal logos of both brands, specifically NEEDLES’ signature butterfly and the OVO owl.
Items that are now available to purchase include tracksuits in black and white, a mohair cardigan featuring “October’s Very Own” in block letters, an oversized dark plaid shirt, and several t-shirts.
The collection launched at the Nepenthes Tokyo store on March 1.
Drake is no stranger to collaborating with Japanese designers, as he recently turned heads thanks to an outfit he worked on with a creator from the country during the opening night of his joint tour with J. Cole.
Drizzy took the stage at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida for the first show of his It’s All a Blur — Big As the What? Tour last month. It wasn’t long before fans noticed that he had on what appeared to be a dinosaur spine outfit.
Soon after the show, Drizzy took to his Instagram Stories and shared an image of Japanese artist Shimoda Masakatsu wearing the item, making it clear who likely created the costume. Masakatsu is famous for his dinosaur head and skeleton pieces, which he has made in collaboration with Comme des Garçons.
Masakatsu also shared an Instagram post of Drake wearing the outfit, which he captioned in Japanese: “How cool is this?”
