World Creole Music Festival

The 23rd edition of the World Creole Music Festival was officially launched by the Discover Dominica Authority on August 8, 2023. The festival is returning with a significant focus on culture and patriotism as the event overlaps with the 45th-anniversary celebrations of Dominica’s independence.

The three-day music festival will take place from October 27 to 29 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Roseau and will follow a ‘Legacy’ theme by paying tribute to past festivals. The first wave of the music festival includes Dominican locals Midnight Groovers, Gordon Henderson, Extasy and Michele Henderson.

The stellar lineup also includes several other popular musicians such as Popcaan and Beres Hammond from Jamaica, Nije from Grenada, JoeBoy from Nigeria, Tabou Combo and Vayb from Haiti, Asa Bantan and TK International from Dominica, Medhy Custos from France, Machel Montano and Patrice Roberts from Trinidad & Tobago, Jean Luc Guanel from Martinique and Joelle Ursull from Guadeloupe.

The cost of standard tickets will begin from $150 each for nights one and three and $200 for night two. Meanwhile, the price of season tickets is $375. The Discover Dominica Authority added that the tickets could be purchased online through or locally at Water’s Edge in Portsmouth, Depex Color Lab in Roseau and Bullseye Pharmacy in Roseau, Portsmouth, and Grand Bay.

The Discover Dominica Authority has again collaborated with Nex Connex Radiane Production to provide visitors with a top-shelf VIP experience. The tickets for the VIP experience with a Tropical Disco theme can be bought only at
