Denzel Curry has expressed his frustration with Playboi Carti’s album rollout, the plans for which keep on fluctuating.

The Carol City MC took to Twitter on Saturday (January 20) to share his growing impatience for I AM MUSIC, which has been delayed over and over again.

He wrote: “Sick of this n-gga Carti pump faking man just drop the damn album.”

The note from the Melt My Eyez See Your Future rapper came soon after the news of said album being pushed back yet again.

DJ Akademiks announced in December that the project is set to arrive in the new year, writing: “Playboi Carti… album coming JANUARY! will be the greatest thing you ever heard.”

Last week, the media personality backtracked on his promise during a livestream when he said: “The talk was […] that Carti would still be dropping this month. I don’t know if he’s gonna just move the date back… At this point, I think he’ll probably move the date back.”

Carti has been sharing a ton of new music in anticipation for his new album. Though it’s still uncertain when I AM MUSIC will officially drop, he shared another new track titled “EVILJ0RDAN last week. Carti hasn’t taken his foot off the gas since the start of 2024 as the song and video arrived via his Opium label’s Instagram page.

All his new tracks have yet to hit streaming services.

King Vamp began his latest album rollout last month with previous singles including the Kanye West-produced “2024,”“Backr00ms” featuring Travis Scott, “H00DBYAIR” and “Different Day.”

“Backr00ms” even found Carti shooting his shot at Ice Spice as he rapped: “I think I need me a Ice Spice, yeah I want me a munch.”

In response, the “Princess Diana” star seemingly approved of the namedrop by reposting the song on her own IG Stories, with her admirer in turn resharing her post with a heart eyes emoji.
