Dave Matthews & Lukas Nelson To Team Up For Wildlands Music Festival

Dave Matthews will team up with Lukas Nelson to headline Wildlands Music Festival when it returns to Big Sky, MT on August 2nd, 2025. No other acts have been revealed yet, but the announcement also promised “surprise artist collaborations.”

Returning for its sixth year, Wildlands will shift to a single-day format for 2025, with Matthews and Nelson set to deliver “a once in a lifetime show” at Big Sky Events Arena. The show will mark Matthews’ first show in Montana in over 30 years, according to the announcement (though he played a private benefit in Big Sky in 2022).

Founded in 2018, Wildlands is dedicated to celebrating wild, open spaces and the grandeur of Montana. Each year, the festival designates nonprofit beneficiaries that share the festival’s mission of protecting and preserving the environment. This year’s beneficiaries are American Rivers, a national leader in river conservation for over 50 years, and the Bozeman-based Center for Large Landscape Conservation. The festival also indicated plans to “feature a day of charity-driven community events and a fundraiser dinner for our nonprofit beneficiaries on Friday, August 1 with more details coming soon.”

Tickets for Wildlands Music Festival 2025 will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, January 14th at 10 a.m. MT via the festival website. A limited local and Dave Matthews Warehouse Fan Club presale is open now until Sunday, January 12th at 11:55 p.m. MT. Register for fan club presale access here.
