Bengaluru was treated to a celebration of art, music, and community at the recent Echoes of Earth festival. Spread across the Embassy International Riding School grounds in Tharahunise, the fest brought together over 40 artistes from around the globe, united by a shared vision of sustainability. Stunning art installations made with recycled material, four uniquely designed solar-powered stages, and innovative drone displays adorned the space as festival-goers of all ages and backgrounds gathered, their pets in tow, came together to witness the two-day spectacle.
‘A feast for the senses’
Art installations around the fest explored themes of nature and environmental consciousness. “The festival space was beautifully designed, with art installations made entirely from eco-friendly and recycled materials. The use of lighting to illuminate the natural surroundings was absolutely stunning and added to the magical atmosphere,” shared an attendee. The musical performances featured a diverse lineup of both established and emerging artistes. The music was diverse and engaging with standout performances by Rhino Stage such as Ko Shin Moon, Mount Kimbi, and Takeshi’s Cashew.

‘Furry friends welcome’
A unique aspect of the festival was its petfriendly policy. Families could bring their furry companions, creating a unique and heartwarming experience. While festival-goers described the event as “very pet-friendly, with dogs and even cats roaming around,” they also noted, “People who have animals that tend to get stressed by the noise or crowds need to be cautious.
‘Immersive experiences beyond music at the fest’
Beyond the music, the festival offered a variety of immersive experiences. Interactive art installations, workshops, and educational activities provided attendees with opportunities to connect with nature and learn about sustainable living. A solarpowered tree installation was a striking visual element that highlighted the festival’s commitment to renewable energy.
‘Festival offered something for everyone’
From the experimental sounds of Modern Biology and Ko Shin Moon to the traditional folk fusion of Hamza Rahimtulla + Rajasthan Folkstars, the performances of Gandhar and Green Park, and the sets of Prematron and Lis, the festival offered something for everyone. The festival’s main stage, Jaws, hosted a variety of DJs including Ritzzz and Gauriwho, who kept the crowd dancing all evening.
