CLEARFIELD — The Central Pennsylvania Mountains Food and Music Festival will be held Friday, Aug. 2 and Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Clearfield Driving Park located at 5615 Park St., Clearfield.
Festival admission to the family-friendly event, including entrance to all of the musical performances, and parking are free.
Activities kick off at 5 p.m. Friday and at noon Saturday.
Organizers have announced the entertainment line-up for the event.
Forged in 1980s glam metal and held together by globs of hairspray, Hair Force One, is headlining the event taking the David H. Litz Grove Stage at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The band’s show lineup is instantly recognizable taking selections from Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, Poison, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, AC/DC and others. “This band promises to make you believe that it’s 1989 all over again,” said committee Member Sue Swales-Vitullo.
Swales-Vitullo said, “Those who like great ‘80s music are not going to want to miss this performance.”
Other performers include The Clairvoyants on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Brandon Guiffre will perform at 2 p.m. followed by Matt Day at 4 p.m.
In addition to musical entertainment, the festival will feature a display of artisans and food vendors outside and inside the Expo 1 building.
Vendors include: Angela’s Cookies, a selection of homemade cookies; Butler’s Woodworking, custom woodworking and laser engraving; Catalpa Lane Farm, locally raised Wagyu beef; Country Hammer Moonshine, a limited distillery of moonshine drinks, local wines and beers; and Disobedient Spirits locally crafted whiskey, vodka, gin and brandy.
Elk Country Wilds, locally prepared gourmet seasoned nuts and snack foods, specialty chocolate confections, including its famous Squatch Balls, slushies and more; Feelin’ Cockey, flavored liquor; Gigi’s Designs, tees and tumblers; Gio’s BBQ, famous barbecued items and sauce; and Good Fat Candle, beef tallow soaps, lotions, lip balms, candles, diffusers and melts.
La Vita Bella Pizza, pizza; Olive the Little Things, hand-bottled extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars; Peter Peppers PA Pickles, a large variety of flavored sliced pickles, New York deli style pickles and other specialty food items; Ricco’s Concessions, hot sausage, French fries, gyros and funnel cakes; Steak on a Stick, steak and chicken on a stick, hamburgers and hotdogs; and Wild Poppy Sweets, old-fashioned candy and sodas, cotton candy and cinnamon rolls.
