Boosie Badazz believes the LGBTQ+ community has bullied straight people into feeling ashamed of their sexuality, though he claims to not be intimidated by any of it.

The outspoken rapper shared his thoughts during an Instagram Live on Sunday (January 21), directly calling out queer folks by saying he won’t be silenced for “speaking up for straight people.”

“No gay shit? Bro y’all bullies, bruh,” he said. “I guess I’m the only one who speak up for straight people, so I’m gay. Anybody who speak up for straight people, y’all say gay. Shit be crazy.

“Y’all done bullied the whole world. Athletes, rappers scared to say they straight. Rappers and athletes scared to even say they like women. They scared they gon’ get bullied, bro. Y’all done bullied the whole world. Except me. Except me!”

He continued: “I’ll blow y’all asses down. You know me. But y’all done bullied all the athletes, all the rappers. They can’t even say they like pussy. Y’all can come into my Live and call me whatever.

“You can call me that because you know I’m not that and I’m not cool with it being pushed on the kids. But you can come on my Live. I’ma try to block you but so many y’all be coming on my Live calling me gay just ’cause I don’t like dick. The shit crazy.”

Boosie Badazz was criticized online in early January after announcing that he walked out of The Color Purple because it features a lesbian relationship between two of its main characters.

“I HAD TO WALK OUT THIS COLOR PURPLE MOVIE ( N TWO OTHER OLDER COUPLES WALKED OUT ALSO.),” he initially wrote on Twitter. “BECAUSE I HAD MY LITTLE GIRLS WITH ME N IT SEEMED LIKE A [GAY] LOVE STORY.

Boosie Badazz Turned Down $250K To Perform At LGBTQ Event: ‘That’s Not What I Believe In’

“GOOD ACTING BUT WHOEVER WROTE THE SCRIPT IS PUSHING THE NARRATIVE HARD AS A PARENT I WILL NOT LET MY LITTLE GIRL WATCH THIS FILM.”

After being criticized for his homophobic remarks, Boosie doubled down on the controversial opinion and claimed the backlash he’s received is tantamount to “bullying.”

“WHY IF SOMEONE DOESNT AGREE WITH THE [GAY] NARRATIVE THATS BEING PUSHED WHY DO YALL SAY THAT THE PERSON WHO DOESNT ARGREE IS [LGBT]. THATS BULLYING [exclamation emoji]” he wrote in a follow-up post.

“WE HAVE A RIGHT AS PARENTS TO SAY ITS NOT COOL FOR A 7 N 9 YEAR OLD TO WATCH THIS. WE HAVE RIGHTS AS PARENTS TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AS MUCH AS WE CAN.”

He added: “I HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH [GAY] PEOPLE. MY GRANDAD WAS A PREACHER (SOUTHERN BAPTIST) N IM JUST TRYNA RAISE MY KIDS WITH THE SAME BELIEFS N RESPECT WE WAS RAISED WITH ITS JUST THIS WORLD WILL HAVE U N A FIGHT TO DO SO.”

Boosie Badazz has previously been criticized for his attitude towards homosexuality, especially since his daughter came out as a lesbian. During an interview with VladTV last yea, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper said that he does not accept her sexuality but still loves her.
