Bia seems to have have reached her limit with those suggesting that she has been lying about her lineage.

Back in 2021, the rapper and singer responded to people who were suggesting she’s caucasian in a since-deleted tweet that read: “Very aware of my roots guys my grandparents were born in PR and migrated to NY. Puerto Rican’s come in many different colors and race is different from ethnicity OF COURSE we have tiano, African, and Latin blood. Very proud to be Afrolatina and Italian.”

The chatter, however, has once again started and the 32-year-old is clearly beginning to lose her patience.

On Thursday (April 11), a social-media user shared a screenshot of a Google search on the “Safari” hitmaker’s ethnicity, the results of which align with the prior tweet. However, the screenshot was captioned “OH?!?! WHATS THIS TEA?!”

Upon catching wind of the snide remark, Bia shared an old photograph of her and her grandfather to illustrate her heritage with the text: “U STILL DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RACE AND ETHNICITY? BITCH PICK UP A BOOK! ITS CALLED AFROLATINA STUPID.”

As she went back-and-forth with a number of people on Twitter about the technicalities of the subject at hand, one person shared an image of dark-skinned men who don’t appear to be of African descent and wrote: “These men have melanin and aren’t Black. Y’all seriously have to stop this SKIN shit …. Lineage, ethnicity, and culture OVER EVERYTHING …. Fuck race. #AbolishRace”

In response, the Massachusetts native wrote: “So explain Haiti and Dominican Republic? They’re literally divided by an imaginary line. You can’t be that stupid to say colonizers didn’t take slaves from Africa and bring them to the US and Caribbean?

“Are you really that slow ? How did biracial ppl even get here? Do you know what Puerto Rican are? African Taino and European. There are Jamaican Indians you fuckin idiot pick up a BOOK.”

As for her other quarrels, Bia and Cardi B appeared to trade shots at each other last month, fueling rumors that they are now feuding.

The drama seemingly stemmed from both rappers sampling Missy Elliot’s 1999 hit “She’s a Bitch,” as Cardi dropped “Like What (Freestyle)” in early March whereas her peer released “I’m That Bitch” with the rap veteran’s close collaborator Timbaland last year.

Adding to accusations that the Bronx rap icon is biting the Sisterhood of Hip Hop star’s style, the video for “Like What (Freestyle)” contains a snippet of another new Cardi song that shares similarities with Bia’s 2023 track “Fallback.”

After the resemblance between the two songs were highlighted by a user on Twitter, Bia replied by posting several woozy face emojis, suggesting she didn’t take kindly to the comparison and even wrote: “Yall are sick.”

Cardi, who is no stranger to rap beef, appeared to hit back subsequently as she tweeted: “Bitches make a fool of themselves every single time [crying face emoji] .. ima show ya something when I release this song tho [winking face emoji].”
