Tell us three things about yourself . . .

We’re three friends who met in secondary school in rural Wexford. We’re all passionate fans of the Tekken fighting game series. We all like game shows and puzzles.

How would you describe your music?

Our music is alternative rock, that’s the short answer. It’s a bit weird, it’s fuzzy, and it’s got hooks. What we’re really trying to do is write pop songs but we’re into a lot of noisy and quirky stuff that rubs off in the process.

Who are your musical inspirations?

We’re massive fans of XTC and The Beach Boys. It would be fair to say the majority of our influence comes from there and from American 90s indie rock like Built to Spill. While we do listen to all sorts, those are the kinds of bands that really did it for us growing up.

What was the first gig you attended?

One of the first gigs we were all at was The Monster Ball in FDYS Enniscorthy in 2011.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Some of the first records we remember buying are the Pump It by Black Eyed Peas single on CD, and The Best of The Foo Fighters

What’s your favourite song right now?

It’s Art by The Bug Club.

Favourite lyric of all time?

“What’s he building in there? What the hell is he building in there?” – Tom Waits.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Nice Buddy – PUFFY. It’s one of the best things you’ll ever hear if you can find it.
