Indian rapper Badshah is set to break new ground by headlining at the UNTOLD music festival in Dubai, making him the first Indian hip-hop artist to take the main stage at the world’s sixth-largest music festival.

Scheduled from February 15-18 at Expo City Dubai, UNTOLD’s debut in the Middle East is creating quite a buzz, billing itself as “Dubai’s first mega festival.” Badshah joins an extensive lineup that includes Armin van Buuren, Bebe Rexha, Don Diablo, Ellie Goulding, Tiësto, Major Lazer Soundsystem, and G-Eazy.

The 38-year-old artist expressed his excitement about the gig, stating, “I’m thrilled to be performing alongside some stellar acts at UNTOLD Dubai. Looking forward to taking India to the world!”

With more than 70,000 attendees expected daily, the festival will transform Expo City Dubai into a sprawling musical wonderland covering 170,000 square metres. Attendees can explore various activities beyond the music, including fashion villages and culinary delights from over 40 vendors.

Featuring over 100 artists across five stages, UNTOLD Dubai promises a diverse range of musical genres over four days. From the Main Stage hosting global superstars to the Alchemy Stage presenting a mix of dubstep, drum & bass, rap, trap, hip-hop, and urban music, the festival aims to cater to diverse tastes.

In addition to the musical experience, UNTOLD Dubai aims to provide a nostalgic escape with the Retro Fashion Stage, featuring classic pop, rock, and disco hits.

To kick off the inaugural chapter, the UNTOLD team collaborated with Armin van Buuren for two world records at Burj Khalifa: the highest performance on the tallest building and the largest LED screen used for a show.
