Arab Music Fest’s Competition Requirements Announced

Dr. Neven El Kilany, the Minister of Culture, approved the requirements of the upcoming competition of the 32nd Arab Music Festival and Conference.

The 32nd edition will take place between October 20, and November 1, and it will be directed by Hany Farahat.

The competition is divided into three branches, the first is for singing, and it carries the name of Ratiba El Hefny. It is dedicated to people who are aged between 18 and 40 years old.

The competitor should perform one of the works of Sayed Darwish, and the other is a composition of the competitor’s choice.

The second division is for performing improvising work on the instrument. Competitors should be aged between 18 and 40 years old.

The third division is for orchestral mixing, and it is open to all ages. Competitors should submit an orchestral mixing or version for one of Sayed Darwish’s compositions.
