JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Fans across the globe will come together this Memorial Day weekend for the “world’s largest Beatles-inspired music festival” — Abbey Road on the River (AROTR).
The festival will take place from May 23-27 at Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville. It will highlight performances by 50 bands from all around the world on six stages.
AROTR has been celebrating The Beatles for more than 20 years. The five-day festival showcases the legacy of The Beatles and classic rock music.
“We are thrilled to commemorate two decades in Louisville and Jeffersonville, bringing people together through the timeless music of The Beatles,” Gary Jacob, founder and producer of Abbey Road on the River, said. “Their influence knows no bounds.”
This year, the festival’s lineup includes performances from The Fab Four, Tony Kishman, Classicstone, The Diving Bell, The English Channel, The George Martins, The Black Ties, The Savage Young Beatles, along with Jan and Dean’s Beach Party, The Cyrkle, The Royal Guardsmen, and many more.
Local acts that will be performing at AROTR include Erin Hill, Louisville School Of Rock, The Rigbys, CMN Trio, Louisville Brass and Electric, The Get Down, Doorway, Nick Peay, The Kukes, Paulie Felice, Laren Rapp, and many more.
Aside from the music, attendees will be able to indulge in an array of food and beverage options, explore interactive art displays, play yard games, and shop Beatles merchandise and artist booths.
